A civic engagement series produced for the Asian American Federation (AAF), aimed at breaking down the barriers keeping AAPI communities from participating in New York City politics. Brought on as a freelance editor and animator by Think Out Loud Productions, I took storyboarded design files and animated them into a cohesive series of explainer videos covering everything from ranked choice voting to how to join a community board. With a multilingual audience in mind, the approach was intentional and restrained: clear motion, clean pacing, and nothing that would get in the way of the message. The series was produced in six languages, and our ranked choice voting explainer took home a Gold AVA Digital Award.
